IT Shelf is a website that publishes practical articles for software developers. It’s about the cutting edge technologies and the classic, how to code fast and how to create a readable code.
Part of these articles are book reviews related to programming and software development life cycle in general. You can find here universal and also language-specific (Java, C++, etc.) coding tips.

This site was launched in January 2015.

Who is behind It Shelf?

My name is Piotr Likus, I’m a software developer & a team leader. I’m also an author of articles presented here. I have some professional experience with languages: C++, Java, COBOL & Pascal, I also use occasionally JavaScript, PHP & Python.
